Following the promulgation of Law No. 193/2020 dated 16/10/2020 relating to the student’s dollar for students who are studying abroad, and to enable the Parliamentary Education and Culture Committee to follow up on the implementation of the said law, it has requested a thorough survey of these students in preparation for providing Lebanese banks with their details and information in order to facilitate the process of financial transfer in accordance with the law.
All Lebanese university students enrolled in universities or higher technical institutes abroad (before the academic year 2020-2021) are required to register at the following electronic link to be able to benefit from the new law. Attached is the text of the new law:
التسجيل للاستفادة من القانون الخاص حول الدولار للطلاب خارج لبنان
اثر صدور القانون رقم 193/2020 تاريخ 16/10/2020 الخاص بالدولار الطالبي للطلاب الذين يتابعون دراستهم بالخارج ، وتمكينا من لجنة التربية والثقافة النيابية من متابعة تنفيذ القانون المذكور، حيث طلبت اجراء مسح دقيق لهؤلاء الطلاب تمهيدا لتزويد المصارف اللبنانية بالتفاصيل والمعلومات الخاصة بهم تسهيلا لاجراء عملية التحاويل المالية وفق القانون ،
يطلب من جميع الطلاب الجامعيين اللبنانيين المسجلين في الجامعات او المعاهد التقنية العليا في الخارج ( قبل العام الدراسي 2020-2021 )وجوب التسجيل على الرابط الالكتروني التالي ليصار الى تخويلهم الاستفادة من القانون الجديد، كما تجدون ربطا نص القانون الجديد :
